TOM DILLEY is in his 4th year at the helm of the Wildcat football program. Before coming to Lawrence North, he served as the head football coach at Bishop Chatard High School. While at Bishop Chatard, Coach Dilley compiled a record of 36-16. His 2001 and 2002 teams won the IHSAA 3A State Championship, with the 2002 team posting the only perfect 15-0 record in the state that year. Prior to becoming head coach at Bishop Chatard, Coach Dilley was a varsity assistant and defensive coordinator for the 1997 and 1998 State Championship teams at Bishop Chatard. While at Bishop Chatard, Coach Dilley was also the head baseball coach for seven years, winning four sectional titles and two regional championships. Prior to arriving at Bishop Chatard, he was a volunteer assistant for Penn High School’s 1989 IHSAA 5A State Runner-up team. Coach Dilley is a graduate of Ball State University and Penn High School. While at Penn, he was a co-captain and all-state player on the 1983 IHSAA 4A Football State Championship team. He also earned four varsity letters on the Ball State University baseball team in college. Coach Dilley is the only person in the state of Indiana to win football championships as a player, assistant coach and head coach. Coach Dilley and his wife, Anjanette, have 2 daughters, Sara and Hannah.
